Arriving by car
Once you arrive in Switzerland take a motorway towards Bern. You will then need to take the motorway A6 towards Interlaken. Once you reach Spiez take exit onto the 223, for Kandersteg/Adelboden and head towards Frutigen. On reaching Frutigen follow the signs for Adelboden. At Adelboden, (near the bus station) turn right towards Ausserschwand and follow the road until you reach the Schonbuhl Restaurant on the left, continue and turn right after 50m into Liimerweg where you will find No.6 at the end of the lane.

As above head towards Bern and take the motorway towards Interlaken, then follow routing shown above.

By rail from airports

Starting 27th March there is a new air service between London City Airport and Bern, the closest airport to the chalet. This service is operated by Skywork see http://www.skywork.com

Geneva or Zurich Airport arrivals, simply go to the airport’s railway station and take the train to Bern where you connect onto a train for Frutigen. At Frutigen transfer to the connecting postal coach for Adelboden’s bus station. It is then a short local bus or taxi ride to the chalet. Total transfer time is approx 3hrs from Zurich & 3hrs 30mins from Geneva.

If you arrive at Basle Airport take the airport bus service or a taxi to Basle’s main railway station (20mins). From here take the train to Bern and follow the instructions shown above. Total transfer time is approx 3 hrs.

The closest airport to the chalet is Bern, however services are more restrictive. Take the airport bus service or a taxi to Bern’s main railway station (20mins). From here take the train to Frutigen and follow the instructions as above. Total transfer time is approx 2hrs 30mins.

By international train
International trains normally arrive at Basle or Geneva. From here take the train to Bern where you connect onto a train for Frutigen. At Frutigen follow instructions as shown above.
